Man found dead near Kingston gas station

Coroner: No evidence of foul play

A 42-year-old man was found dead Sunday morning near the Chevron gas station in Kingston.

The Kitsap County Coroner’s Office has completed the autopsy and identified the man as Aaron Swanson of Port Ludlow. The autopsy revealed there was no evidence of foul play. The cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.

Sgt. Ken Dickinson of the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a driveway near the gas station but no body was located, and they left to respond to another call. Later that morning, another 9-1-1 call came in saying a person was on the ground at the gas station. The caller remained on scene until deputies arrived.
